If you use rental cars overseas, please contact Hertz at 0120-489882(toll free).

Any type of car will be accepted such as a compact one (vitz), middle-sized (Corolla),
luxury (Crown), wagon(Hiace), Van, Truck, and so on.
Now let me show you how to rent a car and the rental charge in Japan.
It's easy! Try to do it and enjoy your drive!

１	In the shop, please show us your international driver's license valid in Japan. (Your own driver's license and its Japanese translation will be accepted if you are a citizen of Germany, France, or Switzerland because of the agreement under Geneva Convention.)
２	We will show you an estimated sum and please pay it before you start as a deposit. When you return the car, necessary cost adjustment will be made.
３	If you need to extend your contract, contact our shop in advance. An overtime charge will be added to your bill. Unless you call us, an indemnity will be charged on you.
４	Please fill up the tank when you return, or you should pay for the fuel by the kilometer.

●Payment Method

TS3, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, Diners, and other major credit cards will be accepted. If you rent the car over the class of P5, P6, and RV2, you are required to pay by only credit cards.
If you plan to return the car to another shop, extra charge will be required.
(There are some cars and shops that cannot accept the system. Please ask our shop staffs in advance.)

We can prepare a child seat, a ski-carrier, chains, and other optional equipment.

(They are not including optional exempt payment waiver ; \1,050 (\1,000 for excluding consumption tax) per day (up to 15 days) for 3,5,7,and 4 number vehicles; \2,100 (\2,000 for excluding consumption tax) per day for 1,2,and 8 number vehicles such as trucks, buses, and others.)

●Insurance Coverage (This coverage will be valid from April 1, 2004.)

Even if you should have an accident, you don't have to worry. All our rental cars are insured and you will be covered in the condition described below.

・Bodily Injury Liability Coverage		Unlimited per person （incl. obligatory insurance）

・Property Damage Liability Coverage		It is unlimited about one accident
		- Exempt from payment:\50,000
・Physical Damage Coverage		Up to current appraisal price - Exempt from payment: Cars \50,000 Buses & Trucks \100,000

・Bodily jnjury Indemnity Coverage		Up to 30 million yen per person

Note 1) This insurance covers the damage of passengers caused by automobile accident regardless of the driver's negligence. (If they are killed, or undergo sequela due to an accident, it also covers.) Limited insurance money: 30 million. Insurance companies have the right to assess the accident in accordance with insurance policy.

Note 2) You are required to pay the deductible amount. Also If the damage amount exceeds the maximum payment, you should pay the excess amount.

Note 3) The insurance money will not be paid if exclusions of the insurance policy apply to the accident.
And please note that if you don't have a police report of the accident, there is possibility that the insurance money will not be paid.

If you pay \1,050 (\1,000 for excluding consumption tax) for passenger cars or \2,100 (\2,000 for excluding consumption tax) for buses and trucks in advance as a exempt amount waiver, you don't have to pay the exempt amount of \50,000 for passenger cars (or \100,000 for buses and trucks) in case of an accident.

●Non-Operation Charge (NOC)

If you should have an accident and the car needs ｒｅｐａｉｒing，
you are required to pay the charge as specified below as a part of the compensation
for the loss of our business．(In this case, no tax will be required.)

In case the car is returnned the shop where the car is to be returnned		\20,000
In case the car is not returnned the shop where the car is to be returnned		\50,000
